SPRCHRGR client brief
October 21, 2026
Your face, voice and words on our calls are not used to train AI models. SPRCHRGR records meetings with Fireflies, and Fireflies commits to this in its Terms of Service, its Privacy Policy and its security documentation. Recordings exist so we can keep accurate notes and follow through on what we agreed, and you stay in control of how much of yourself goes into them.
Three separate Fireflies documents say the same thing, and the first one is a binding contract term.
| Document | What it says |
|---|---|
| Terms of Service, Section 5(c)(ii) | Fireflies "will not use your User Content to train, retrain, fine-tune or otherwise improve any generative artificial intelligence models." User Content explicitly includes audio and video recordings. |
| Privacy Policy | "We do not use personal information for AI model training and we contractually prohibit our vendors from using this information for their own model training." |
| Security guide | Meeting content, "including audio, video, transcripts, and summaries," is "never used to train any AI models." |
Fireflies is also independently audited each year under SOC 2 Type II, certified under ISO/IEC 42001 for responsible AI governance, and encrypts recordings at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). None of its published policies describe facial recognition or any analysis of faces in video.
When Fireflies uses outside providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic to transcribe or summarize, those providers work under zero data retention agreements. Per the Privacy Policy, your audio, video, transcripts and summaries are not stored by the vendor after processing, not accessed once the work is done, and not used to train their models. Fireflies describes itself as a data custodian: the meeting content belongs to the account holder, and Fireflies staff cannot open it without permission.
We record so nothing you tell us gets lost between calls. Here is how we handle it on our side, and the choices that stay with you at any point.
Recordings are shared only with the SPRCHRGR team members assigned to the Triquetra account, through our secure systems.
Turn your video off for any meeting, or any part of one. The notes we rely on come from the audio and transcript, so our work does not suffer.
Tell us before a meeting, or mid-call, and we will turn recording off for it.
Ask us to delete a recording once the notes are finalized, and we will. Fireflies then removes its copies within a reasonable timeframe under its terms.
Questions on any of this can come straight to Mark Wald, Founder & CEO of SPRCHRGR, at mwald@sprchrgr.com.
