Background
A fast-growing self-storage business developed their own proprietary system to manage available properties and enable self-service customer bookings through their website. While the customer-facing frontend of the system functions very well, it was becoming increasingly time consuming, complex, and therefore error-prone to invoice + collect payments from customers and to manually record the accounting transactions on the back end to recognize revenues, fees, and other expenses.
SPRCHRGR developed a custom web tool to ingest, process, and display customized management reports of the client's unique dataset. Additionally, we built a direct integration to automatically post corresponding accounting transactions into the company’s general ledger, eliminating manual labor costs and associated human errors in the process.
