About Kip
Kip is a finance planning and analysis (FP&A) expert who is skilled in translating complex data into digestible and actionable information. Major global brands and startups alike have counted on him for insightful financial analysis to help optimize business decisions and company performance.
Background
During an extended run at Siemens AG (Germany) and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Kip rose from Financial Analyst to Head of R&D Finance. In the latter role, he served as financial lead for a $100M+ development project and direct partner to the CFO and Head of R&D. Among his many other duties, he managed a 10-year strategic business plan with risk assessments and sensitivity analyses.
Kip was also Sr. FP&A Manager at Lyft, where he was responsible for the company's largest operational expense group (Compensation and Benefits) and led budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting for all headcount-related expenses. In his startup experience, he acted as Head of Finance for a Biotech and a Micromobility company. In both roles, he established and led accounting and reporting processes with an emphasis on continuous data improvement and developed financial strategic plans to drive executive business decisions.
