About Courtney

Courtney sees accounting as the story of an organization. Looking at the books tells how the organization has developed and can provide a roadmap of strengths and weaknesses to guide decision making. By improving processes and controls, an organization can ensure that their books provide a true picture of their organization and allow them to make informed decisions about their future.

Background

Courtney brings over 15 years of progressive financial leadership to SPRCHRGR, with deep expertise in multi-entity operations, ERP implementation, and internal controls.

She started her career as Director of Financial Reporting at a corporate aviation company where she developed location-specific reporting processes and provided financial analysis to managers across the organization. She then spent over a decade at one of the world's largest oilfield services companies, serving as Ledger Controller across multiple manufacturing plants. In that role, Courtney managed monthly financial closes for three simultaneous ledgers, led the implementation of the Syteline ERP system, built SOX-compliant reporting processes, earned a Bronze LEAN Certification, and supervised accounting staff — all while working across enterprise platforms including Hyperion and Essbase. She went on to serve as Area Controller at a national landscaping organization, overseeing financials across multiple locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

At SPRCHRGR, Courtney brings that same operational discipline to every client engagement. She manages full-cycle financial closes, implements integrated accounting and expense management platforms, leads budget reviews and engagement scoping, and coordinates with CPA partners to ensure clean data handoffs for tax preparation. Her clients count on her as a steady, reliable presence who anticipates what's needed before they have to ask.
