FAQs

How do we know it's time for an ERP?

When your team is buried in spreadsheets, your numbers are inconsistent or out of date, you're adding entities or locations, or reconciling between systems eats days every month.

Which ERP systems do you implement?

We're an official BQE CORE implementation partner and reseller and a Cin7 Core Certified Implementation Partner, and we implement Sage Intacct for multi-entity companies. Part of our assessment is recommending the systems that fit your business, which may include other platforms beyond this core list – in those cases we quarterback the process with external partners who have specialized capabilities.

What does an implementation include?

Three stages. Assessment and selection: process analysis, requirements, future-state design, ROI and an implementation roadmap. Implementation: configuration, data migration, automation, custom reporting, integrations and user acceptance testing. Then training and ongoing support.

How long does an ERP implementation take?

It largely depends on the system, how complex your business model is, and the state of your data today. A co-sourced implementation with our team typically takes about 12 weeks from selection to go-live. We can move faster if you’re ready to keep pace with us, but manage your expectations – we often find that process documentation is sparse or outdated and/or the data requires some level of cleanup before it is migration-ready; that prep work can take weeks or months to get through before starting the actual system implementation.

We end up fixing enough of other people’s botched implementations to know the value of “measure twice, cut once” as they say, to avoid blind spots, gaps, and other failures that would otherwise ultimately result in expensive rework down the road. Businesses that rush into poorly planned implementations end up suffering long term from “garbage in, garbage out” but that doesn’t happen on our watch!

Will you migrate our historical data?

Yes. Data migration is part of every implementation. We'll agree on how much history to bring over during the assessment.

Do you stay involved after go-live?

Yes, for as long as you need us: user training, process improvements, system updates and ongoing accounting and technical support.

How much does an ERP implementation cost?

Costs largely depend on the system, complexity (such as the number of entities or the number of integrations that need to be configured), and current state of the data. We price the assessment first, so you know the full project cost before you commit.
