About Francheska

Francheska is SPRCHRGR's Lead IT Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas and is both a CPA and a CMA, and she has built her career at the point where the accounting function meets the systems that run it. She has led full ERP implementations start to finish: entity and class taxonomy design, fee schedule architecture, expense and revenue item mapping to the general ledger, data migration, custom reporting, and the client training that has to follow. We call on Francheska when our clients needs both depth in accounting knowledge and technical support at the ERP layer, the ancilary systems that connect into the ERP, and the reporting tools that sit on top of it.

With her dept and breath of experience, Francheska likes to keep each week interesting with a variety of different work. For a global nonprofit architecture practice with three subsidiaries and entities across North America and Africa, she led the ERP implementation end to end: Classes carrying the subsidiary structure, a Group taxonomy spanning billing group, labs, location, studio and typology, fee schedules assigned per person so actual payroll cost flows through, and the item list mapping analysis that decided how the AP platform and the ERP would talk to each other. Dropping into a consumer product manufacturer running 100's of vendor bills a month, she produced a 16 point findings list across the balance sheet, income statement, and systems in a single afternoon, including inventory items showing negative balances that were still being pulled for fulfillment - which uncovered errors with a manual spreadsheet-based tracker was running alongside the ERP.

For a utility and power engineering firm, she redesigned the chart of accounts against industry norms, standardized project phases across the whole book, moved the client to a weekly resource allocation model after diagnosing why timecards were landing on weekends, then built budget versus actual reports and trained the client to run them independently without needing to escalate to us every time. Francheska also brought a regional nonprofit off of PeopleSoft and onto QuickBooks, rebuilding its board reports so a nationally trained audience could read them in the format they were more familiar with.

Her habit on every one of these is the same: find the root cause, structure the work efficiently, then hand our team and client stakeholders a playbook they can operate with confidence, consistently into the future.

Background

Francheska started her career as an Accounting Associate at Starbucks, then worked as Operations Manager for a co-working company before moving into a Finance and Quote Desk Manager role for several years - that stretch is where the systems side of her work began. Then she ran ERP migrations and full charge bookkeeping for architecture and construction firms, honing her expertise in project accounting, job costing and pass through billing.

Francheska has worked across dozens of different client engagements since joining the SPRCHRGR team in 2023, each with its own systems stack and close cadence. Once our clients see what Francheska is capable of, they tend to keep her close too! The Global Controller from one of our clients asked to work with her exclusively, making her the sole SPRCHRGR resource on an international ERP program. Six months into a three system integration that Francheska led delivery on, the client's business manager wrote in unprompted: "Their professional expertise and meticulous attention to every detail we have requested has been invaluable. They consistently find ways to help us achieve our goals, whether through testing, troubleshooting, or implementing effective workarounds."
